Do you have the experience to create and execute winning marketing plans and the ability to translate technical research and chemistry into compelling consumer copy?
Working as a Marketing Manager for this multinational specialty chemical company, you will help develop and drive the global strategy and lead all the marketing activity within EMEA for the hair care and styling segments.
Using your experience in consumer insights and knowledge of ingredients and cosmetic science, you will construct story lines and collaborate with the market research team to identify gaps in the market and understand consumer needs to help influence the innovation roadmap.
You will conduct marketing analysis, competitive assessments, supply/ demand analysis and capacity evaluations, identify trends and patterns and translate the data into actionable insights and activities, using engaging storytelling and communication. This will guarantee we keep ahead of the competition, excite our manufacturers and brand owners to ensure our ingredients are first choice in their new launches and existing product development.
With your expertise in product or brand marketing and knowledge of the hair care and styling market you will develop strategic campaigns to support the product value proposition and strengthen key selling points and product positioning.
You will conduct regular training sessions with the global commercial teams and distributors and collaborate with the global & regional teams to produce promotional materials and sales tools, write articles for technical and trade publications, execute the trend promotional plan and create a strong marketing proposition that stands out from the competition.
Your clear communication and the ability to lead projects will be vital to support the global ideation process and partner with R&D to ensure a quality innovation pipeline.
The work requires traveling up to 25% of your time in Europe as well as outside Europe.
