A world-class speciality chemicals company is seeking a Lead Applications Scientist to join the future-focused team at their Global HQ. This exciting role offers the opportunity to shape the future of personal care technology and innovation.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigate and formulate products across categories, from haircare to skincare to colour cosmetics
- Increase understanding of the properties of the company’s products, and the benefits they bring to formulations
- Apply innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to creative formulation development
- Plan and execute work independently, maintaining the highest laboratory practice standards
- Critically evaluate products and formulations to ensure quality and efficacy
- Provide technical support across the EMEA region, travelling as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science
- Hand-on experience as a Formulator within personal care is a strong advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable to working in a team and independently
