NPD Formulation Manager | Dorset | £45-£50,000

Develop your career with an independent cosmetics manufacturing company, identifying and supporting the creation, design, development and refinement of new products.

The wide-ranging role stretches across all aspects of the company. It will suit an experienced cosmetics formulator who is keen to broaden their knowledge and experience of key business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, structure and implement the company’s NPD process
• Manage development projects, ensuring cost and timing KPIs are consistently met
• Schedule work for the laboratories, ensure labs are c-GMP compliant, train and support lab technicians
• Maintain cosmetic regulation testing, compliance and records
• Work with QC to implement critical checks at key stages of development and production
• Develop direct customer relationships, identifying portfolio gaps and developing products to meet opportunities
• Provide ‘in house’ technical support to colleagues and customers 
• Prepare reports for senior management on lab operations/outputs and key financials
