We are seeking a highly skilled Development Chemist with extensive experience in the formulation and development of hair dyes, bleaches, and colourant products. Joining an established manufacturer of haircare products with global distribution, you will lead projects, drive innovation, and work with your colleagues to deliver exceptional products.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise hair dye and care product formulations for performance and safety
• Manage hair colour projects from concept to market, ensuring quality standards
• Research new ingredients and trends to drive innovation in hair colour science
• Conduct patent searches to support innovative formulation development
• Utilise analytical techniques to evaluate and validate product performance
• Collaborate across teams and mentor colleagues to align with business goals

Candidate Requirements

• Master’s in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
• Demonstrable success in the formulation of hair dyes. Experience with bleaches and other technical products is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Able to convey technical information to non-technical people
