We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative Technical Development Chemist to join a leading distributor of ingredients to the European beauty industry.
Working in the UK application laboratory, you will create formulations that showcase the performance of their ingredient portfolio.
Whether it’s skin, sun, or hair care, colour cosmetics or toiletries, you will be supported by extensive product training, enthusiastic colleagues, and the latest equipment to bring your ideas to life. In addition, you will provide technical support to the sales teams on customer visits in the UK and Poland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new formulations to demonstrate product benefits
- Providing technical assistance to help customers create new products
- Evaluating and investigating new materials
- Creating trends presentations and marketing materials
- Communicating complex scientific information clearly
- Sourcing and assessing new ingredient technologies
- Developing strategies to promote our products
- Supporting sales teams with technical information
- Attending industry events and visiting suppliers worldwide
The successful candidate will have a degree in a scientific subject, along excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is essential, and good spoken and written Polish would be an advantage.
