Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively explore new packaging formats, materials and technologies to fuel innovation.
- Develop concepts, prototypes and briefs that balance creativity with commercial reality.
- Drive technical development of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
- Lead packaging testing and validation, including compatibility, transit and shelf-life.
- Support scale-up, line trials and continuous improvement on filling and assembly lines.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Brand, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Analyse packaging failures and complaints to identify root causes and improvements.
- Champion sustainable packaging solutions without compromising performance or experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in packaging development within beauty or FMCG
- Strong technical understanding of bottles, glass, closures, pumps and refill systems.
- A creative, curious mindset with the confidence to influence stakeholders.
- A structured, detail-focused approach to testing, data and documentation.
