How to: Festival Glitter

Step 1: Paint a Pop of Colour – To make sure you stand out this summer cover your nails with a bright shade to make your talons pop. Barry M’s Coconut Infusion Nail Paint comes in four stand out colours. Flip Flop, which is a fiery burnt orange. Lemonade, which Is a bold creamy yellow. Scuba, a refreshing blue. And my personal favourite Popsicle, which is a scorching pink! Any of these will make you stand out in a crowd.

Step 2: Decorate the Nails – If you really want to make a statement, I suggest adding some nail art stickers on top of your bright polish. Geometric Nail Decals from iz Beauty of London is a popular choice. They can be applied by tweezers for more precision and a layer of top coat will give them an extra shiny look and help hold them in place for longer.

Step 3: Sprinkle the Face – You can sprinkle your cheek bones and temples for a luminous and fun look that really has the wow factor. Stardust from Beauty Boulevard comes with an applicator and binding gel to make the glitter face look completely fool-proof. It’s very popular at the moment and comes in a range of vibrant colours.

Step 4: Spritz Locks – For some full on sparkle, Spritz your hair with a glitter hairspray. Superdrug’s Colour Hairspray is available in Glitter Gold and Glitter Silver. It washes out so is a quick way to get in the festival spirit and the two shades can be mixed for a fun and stylish look.

Step 5: Add some Lippie – The finishing touch to any festival look is a hint of colour on the lips. New CID I-Shine is a lip balm available in cocktail inspired shades. Plus, it comes with a handy mirror, which will be ideal for making touch-ups during the headline set.
