Here are the main points that we should take from this
month’s Pure Beauty Magazine including the best new products in skincare, hair
care, body care, make-up, fragrance from around the world. A brief note on the
new, exciting Global beauty awards and the ultimate party prep guide. This
month’s edition also has a big article on Beauty in China and Stirring the
sense. Both articles are very good reads. “All Eyes on China” goes into detail
about all the numbers behind the growth of the Chinese beauty market and some
of the trends that are taking over the country. “Stir the Sense” goes on about
the best things for fragrance brands to do to achieve the most.

The products that really caught my eye:

One Product that really caught my eye this month was the 786 Cosmetics new Halal nail polishes. As the world is becoming more and more diverse I think it is great to see companies coming up with products for specific ethnicities. Although anyone can use the products, they have been designed especially for Muslim consumers. This is good as it’s the first time we have heard of a product such as this. We are excited to see how these nail polishes get on in the market and hope to see them doing well and growing in the future.

Another product that caught my eye was the new men’s hairspray from VO5. I find that whatever gel or wax I use on my hair, by the end of the day I see my hair losing its hold and starting to fall flat and out of place. Seeing a product that could possible help me with this problem really caught my eye.

 

Pure Beauty Global Awards

A key part to this Novembers edition was the fact that the entries for the first ever Global Awards opened. After 15 years of success with the Pure Beauty Awards for the UK best new beauty products, they have decided to go global! There are 9 categories:

  • Natural & Organic
  • Skincare
  • Packaging Innovation
  • Brand Innovation
  • Male Grooming
  • Fragrance
  • Body Care
  • Colour Cosmetics
  • Hair

All the entries will be put into the corresponding category and tested by the editors along with professional beauty experts. From professional make-up artists, hairdressers and facialists and male grooming and body care specialists to manufactures that have been in the industry for years will be among the judges. The winners will be announced at the exclusive awards ceremony in Dubai on the 9th May 2018.
