Team Arthur Edward have decided to don their pink tutus and wigs to take part in LGFBUK’s 12km SWALK around Denbies Vineyard in the stunning Surrey Hills on the 12th June 2016.

They will be joining hundreds of others in raising vital funds and awareness for Look Good Feel Better and enable us to support more women and teenagers receiving cancer treatment.

Heidi’s work as a LGFB Regional Coordinator allows her first hand to see the difference the workshops bring to the brave ladies fighting cancer. Every women deserves to feel special and beautiful and that’s what LGFB do so amazingly well.

LGFB was formed in the UK 22 years ago, specifically to help women combat the visible side-effects of their cancer treatment. Last year they supported more than 15,500 women and teenagers through the Workshops and Masterclasses and many thousand more benefited from their online and self-help materials.

To give you an idea what a difference the workshops make these are testimonials from ladies that have attended themselves.

The whole experience was outstanding. It’s not just about a bit of make-up, it’s not vanity – it’s about control. It gives women the strength to fight this horrible disease.” Fiona, LGFB Beneficiary

“I had such a lovely time filled with hope and laughter. The beautiful goodie bag was just overwhelming! I hope the beauty brands realise the effect their donations have.”Audrey, LGFB Beneficiary

“The vulnerability of being a cancer patient is far more extensive than you realise and being able to improve on that vulnerability by being more confident in your appearance has a huge impact.” Professor Hilary Thomas – Clinical Oncologist, Group Medical Director of Care UK & LGFB Beneficiary

Being able to use my skills in such an amazingly positive way is pricelessSuzie, LGFB Beauty Volunteer
