A leading speciality chemicals company is seeking an experienced Ecotoxicologist to join its Global Safety Team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of product safety and hazard assessment, with a focus on novel non-animal testing approaches.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert ecotoxicology guidance to internal stakeholders across business functions.
• Deliver product and substance specific ecotoxicology support to customers, with a focus on innovative non-animal approaches to hazard and safety assessment.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of hazard and safety assessment strategies that address current and future needs of the business across categories and regions.
• Represent the company at Trade Associations, Conferences, and Industry Initiatives promoting alternatives to animal testing.
• Provide technical input to guide strategic decision-making within Global Safety and Regulatory Affairs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ecotoxicology-related topics within the organisation.  

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree qualified (BSc Hons, MSc, or PhD) in Ecotoxicology or a related Life Science discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in the consumer products or chemicals industry, with strong expertise in hazard and safety assessment.
• In-depth knowledge of alternative non-animal testing approaches and evolving regulatory trends.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, actionable insights for wide-ranging audiences
