ACCOUNT MANAGER | £35,000 – £65,000
Junior / Senior / Manager
A Junior or Senior Sales Manager / Account Manager works in sales to generate new business and look after or manage existing clients or accounts. Selling finished Cosmetic and Beauty products into independent stores, chemists, pharmacies, department stores, high street stores, on lines stores, grocers or supermarkets. Candidates for this Beauty and Cosmetic Sales role are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels and a business or science degree.
AREA MANAGER | £38,000 – £80,000
Junior / Senior / Manager
An Area Manager sells into salons, pharmacies, independent or department stores within a specific area, often managing many accounts or retailers. They are based out on the road, visiting clients or accounts, selling or representing cosmetic, skin, hair, beauty and fragrance products or services, sometimes training and managing in store staff. For this Beauty and Cosmetic Sales job, candidates are generally required to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels and a degree.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | £40,000 – £120,000
Junior / Senior / Manager
A Business Development Manager is responsible for building sales and business opportunities through gaining new customers and accounts. They might sell hair, beauty, cosmetic, skin care or fragrance products or services into salons, pharmacies, department stores, grocers, super markets or independent retailers. Junior / Senior / Manager
A Counter Sales, Business or Account Manager is responsible for building and growing sales and business with new and existing customers. They might sell hair, beauty, cosmetic, skin care, colour cosmetic or fragrance products direct to the consumer. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum.
COUNTRY MANAGER | £80,000 – £250,000
Senior / Manager / Director
A Country Manager looks after a specific country or territory managing the whole business including sales, marketing and operations for their Cosmetic and Beauty brands. Candidates are generally expected to have A levels, and ideally a Technical or Business degree.
EDUCATOR | £38,000 – £120,000
Junior / Senior / Manager
An Educator, Trainer, Brand Ambassador or Training Manager works in store or at events, usually for a specific beauty brand, training the sales team on product details and sales skills. The role can be global, travelling to all international markets to train the local teams. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum.
HEAD OF SALES | £60,000 – £180,000
Senior / Manager / Director
A Head of Sales plans the strategy to grow the business, takes decisions on where to sell the cosmetic, beauty, hair, skin or perfume products or brands and leads the sales team. For this Beauty and Cosmetic Sales role, candidates are usually required to have 8 GCSE minimum, ideally A levels, and a degree.
INTERNAL SALES | £20,000 – £35,000
Trainee / Junior / Senior / Manager
An Internal or Sales Support person will be working in a business , contacting potential customers by telephone and e mail to try and persuade them to buy the company’s Cosmetic and Beauty goods and services. They may also carry out market research and book appointments for sales people in the field. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels, and a degree.
INTERNATIONAL SALES | £55,000 – £180,000
Junior / Senior / Manager / Director
An International Sales Manager looks after international accounts or distributors sometimes within a specific country or region, such as USA, Europe, Asia or EMEA. They travel to their countries, research the market and select the best distributors or retailers to sell their Cosmetic and Beauty products. Often they help with marketing for each territory, area or country, language skills are always helpful. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels, and a business or language degree.
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER | £45,000 – £120,000
Senior / Manager / Controller / Director
A Key Account Manager looks after one or two key or national clients or accounts and works closely with the Product Managers to develop a joint business plan to get the best sell through for their Cosmetic and Beauty products. They might focus on 1 or more store like Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, etc. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels, and a degree.
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER | £45,000 – £120,000
Senior / Manager / Controller / Director
A National Account Manager looks after one or two Key or National clients or accounts and works closely with the Product Managers to develop a joint business plan to get the best sell through for their Cosmetic and Beauty products. They might focus on 1 or more store like Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, etc. Candidates are generally expected to have 6 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels, and a degree.
SALES ANALYST | £30,000 – £70,000
Junior / Senior / Manager
A Sales Analyst will look at sales and trends, focusing on EPOS data from stores, the role is very figure based, looking at what affect promotions and POS have, spreadsheets, number crunching and analysis. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels, and a degree.
SALES DIRECTOR | £80,000 – £250,000
Senior / Manager / Director
A Sales Director plans the strategy to grow the business, takes decisions on where to sell the cosmetic, beauty, hair, skin or perfume products or brands. The director leads, supports and motivates the team. Candidates are generally expected to have A levels, and a degree for this Beauty and Cosmetics Sales job.

Senior / Manager / Director
A Cosmetic / Beauty Sales Manager will train, manage and motivate a team of sales people. They often look after key or national accounts as well as managing a team who sell to other retailers, key accounts, department stores, grocers, on line retailers, pharmacies, hair and beauty salons and independent stores. Candidates are generally expected to have 8 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels, and a degree.

A Technical Sales Manager or Representative sells the raw materials, chemicals and actives to the Cosmetic and Beauty brands and contract manufacturers. Often from a scientific or chemist background they sell to the technical teams and buyers.Candidates are generally expected to have a Chemistry, Biology or Cosmetic Science Degree, Masters, or PHD.
