EVALUATOR | £28,000 – £80,000

Junior / Senior / Manager

An Evaluator works closely with the Perfumer to select which fragrance and flavours to submit to the client, the role needs expert understanding of the fragrance market, good smelling skills and good project management skills. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum.

FRAGRANCE TECHNICAL MANAGER | £60,000 – £250,000

Senior / Manager / Director

A Fragrance Technical Manager or Director is a scientist with strong chemistry, cosmetic and fragrance formulation experience who specialises in fragrance and how fragrance affects different formulations. They will research and drive the fragrance direction and story behind a brand. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally a Science or Perfumery degree and training.

FRAGRANCE TECHNICIAN | £15,000 – £30,000

Trainee / Junior

A Junior or Trainee Fragrance Technician supports the Evaluators and Perfumers, helping them with their daily duties. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally A levels.

GCMS TECHNICIAN | £26,000 – £60,000

Junior / Senior / Manager

A GCMS Technician works on the GCMS machines, checking and matching components of a fragrance. Candidates are generally expected to have 5 GCSEs minimum, ideally a Science A level.

TRAINEE PERFUMER | £20,000 – £45,000

Trainee / Junior

A Perfumer, Senior Perfumer, Creative Perfumer, Chief Perfumer or Master Perfumer is highly creative and passionate. They blend all the different aromas and chemicals to create or match a fragrance. Often known as ‘The Nose’ they work with many hundreds of different aromas, naturals and chemicals to develop their unique creations. Candidates are generally expected to have 4 GCSEs minimum, ideally a Science A level, Perfumery or Science degree and training for a number of years.

PERFUMER | £45,000 – £400,000

Senior / Manager / Director
