OUR VALUES

EQUALITY & DIVERSITY

Arthur Edward Recruitment is committed to eliminating discrimination and promoting inclusivity, equality and diversity in our own policies, practices and procedures and in all areas in which we have influence.

The company and its employees will work diligently to treat all individuals equally and with the same attention, courtesy and respect.

INTEGRITY, HONESTY AND DISCRETION

At Arthur Edward, we take Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously and have been proud supporters of Look Good Feel Better for years.

Look Good Feel Better is the only international cancer support charity that helps to boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of people undergoing cancer treatment in 27 countries worldwide.

Look Good Feel Better is the Beauty Industry’s charity, they welcome more than 20,000 female, male, and teenage cancer patients through the doors of its confidence boosting workshops at over 130 locations throughout the UK.

We help raise funds and awareness for the charity.

Many women tell us that their LGFB workshop helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment can make everything feel overwhelming.

When we are all so busy chasing profit, researching new technologies, launching products and growing market share we can forget the power of our skincare and make up products. If you Look Good you really do Feel Better.

Why not get involved with fundraising or volunteering for this amazing charity. Visit the Look Good Feel Better web site for more information, online tutorials, printed materials and fundraising advice.

Feel Better Week 2016 was all about the lips, we puckered up with the help of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists and the team at Garden Studios. We enjoyed an afternoon tea and fete at Leigh Court, learnt about the benefits of a mud mask at SWALK and enjoyed the fabulous views and wine at Denbies Vineyard.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary in 2014, the team at Arthur Edward threw themselves into completing 20 challenges throughout the year.

LGFB is funded by many cosmetic industry member companies, who generously donate funds, products and volunteers as well as independent fundraising by individuals and companies who run events and raise money to support the charity.

Raising awareness is just as important as raising funds. Take a minute to help share our message and re-tweet tweets about the charity from @lgfbuk and @arthuredwardrec.

Around 1,800 incredible volunteers and beauty consultants give up their time to run the workshops, alongside over 150 hospital volunteers, all organised by the wonderful team at LGFB head office and a network of 50 Regional Co-ordinators.

Heidi Bannister, MD of Arthur Edward Associates is a LGFB Regional Co-ordinator. She helps run 4 workshops every month in Reading, Bracknell, Newbury and Oxford as well as using her recruiting skills to find new volunteers for the charity.

Heidi told us “When the ladies arrive at a workshop they can be very unsure about what to expect, it is heart-warming to see them relaxing and growing in confidence throughout the session.”

Finding out you have cancer in any form can be daunting and life-changing, and the added stress of the appearance related side effects of treatment can be demoralising and tough to cope with. This can have serious consequences on self-esteem and confidence at a time when a positive attitude is very important to keep you going through your treatment.

Many women tell us that their LGFB workshop helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment can make everything feel overwhelming.

When we are all so busy chasing profit, researching new technologies, launching products and growing market share I think we can forget the power of our skincare and make up products. If you Look Good you really do Feel Better.
