This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly accomplished food safety expert to join a market-leading personal care and wellness company. Acting as the go-to expert on food safety and related market standards, you will design and lead a forward-focused food safety management system in R&D.

This is a true leadership position where you will act as an agent of change, fostering and embedding a culture of food safety within the company. This role encompasses working with R&D to implement a comprehensive food safety management system to working with NPD, as you ensure food safety is built into product development right from concept.

You will take ownership of the food safety standards process, ensuring all market requirements are met and locating areas for improvement. You will work cross-functionally, acting as a bridge between R&D and Manufacturing providing clear scientific recommendations on emerging issues in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in food safety and technical expertise along with proven experience of successfully handling a major food safety crisis.

You must have a bachelor’s degree in Food Microbiology, Science/Food Technology, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
