Principal Chemist – Skincare Permanent

Are you passionate about all things beauty and skincare?

Are you a cosmetic scientist wanting to have full creative control?

You are a seasoned Skincare Chemist with at least 7 years of professional experience within formulation, NPD and lab environments, managing projects from concept through to shelf in skincare technologies including Moisturisers, Serums, Cleansers and Sun Care.

Joining an established global cosmetics company that develop and manufacture onsite you will have full creative freedom to formulate, expand and develop new products.

Using your excellent project management skills you will mentor, inspire and motivate junior chemists and interns in your team.

Having already worked with skincare you have a great understanding of the market and maintain a pulse on key emerging trends within the industry.

You have extensive knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, their usage and the technical capability to formulate complex technologies. You will be responsible for identifying gaps in the portfolio and work with the marketing team to deliver award-winning, pipeline technologies with breakthrough consumer-led innovations.

You must be an expert in Emulsion Chemistry, Daily SPF and UV filter skincare formulation for this role.
