Product Development Manager | London, hybrid | £50-80,000 DOE
Are you a persuasive product development or project manager with an impressive NPD background?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you make things happen?
Bring your time and process management skills to a global luxury skincare brand, and work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to develop and deliver the NPD pipeline.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop NPD concepts with Marketing, including competitive reviews, ingredient and formulation strategy
- Research and identify innovative raw materials and packaging components aligned with brand values and product concepts
- Brief suppliers on specifications, pricing, and quality to bring products to market
- Understand and analyse formulation trends, textures, and product formats
- Manage NPD projects, track third-party technical development, manage CPAs
- Lead third-party chemists, test houses, and fragrance houses in new formulation testing
- Track and monitor development costs with manufacturers to ensure budget adherence
The ideal candidate will bring significant skincare NPD experience, plus proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Most important are exceptional communication and multitasking skills, as you pull out all the stops to deliver on time and on budget.
This is a hybrid role, based 2 days each week in the central London office.
