KATIE KIEU NGA

Katie is Research & Marketing Assistant at Arthur Edward.
Katie grew up in the Czech Republic, where her love of science led her to complete scientific internships at the Academy of Sciences and at Charles University in Prague. Moving to Germany, she undertook internships in Pharmacy. This experience fuelled her decision to specialise in the cosmetic industry and she moved to the UK to study for a Cosmetic Science MSc.
A rapidly rising star in the industry, Katie won awards from the CTPA Bursary for two consecutive years. She is a proud member of the British Society of Perfumers and the Society of Cosmetic Scientists.
Katie has always worked alongside her studies. She has assisted at In-Cosmetics and SCS Formulate for the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries, and dedicated an entire placement year to gaining experience and expertise in colour cosmetics and skincare formulation development and manufacturing.
Katie has a Vietnamese heritage and passions for martial arts, fashion styling, cinematography, hip hop music and solo travelling.
