The Beauty, Cosmetics and Personal Care industry is a major contributor to the UK economy and provides employment for a significant proportion of the workforce. A British Beauty Council report revealed that the Beauty Industry contributed £14.2 billion to the UK GDP in 2018; more than the motor industry.
A career in this industry can be varied, exciting and satisfying. It encompasses many disciplines and sectors, all along the product supply chain from concept creation, throughout the development process, to production and market launch. Many young people work and study hard to gain the experience and qualifications needed to enter the industry and start a lifelong career.
