The proportion of small and medium-sized companies run by women is increasing: there are now more women-led businesses in the UK than ever before and the number of women on FTSE Boards is at an all-time high. That is great news.

The Fortuna 50 index highlights the varietyanddiversityofsuccessful businesses that are being run by women, inspiring others to do the same. I hopethat by showcasing your success other women who are thinking about starting a business will have the confidence to tum theirideas into reality.
